Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Specific
- 5 Years’ post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Experience in maintaining Forklifts, Tractors and Trucks, preferable MAN Trucks.
- Code 14 driver’s license is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- General overseeing of workshop by ensuring assignment of tasks according to required deadlines and mechanics complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure job cards are completed and submitted according to deadlines.
- Conduct daily breakdown repairs on light and heavy equipment.
- Conduct scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services on light and heavy equipment.
